One-time scholarships of the International Humanitarian Foundation HIFS from Switzerland and the University of Sarajevo were awarded on Thursday 26 January 2017.

At the meeting took place which was attended by 19 students of the University of Sarajevo, representatives of the Foundation ( “Humanity International Foundation Switzerland”) and representatives of University of Sarajevo, selected students were given a one-time scholarships as a token of the International Humanitarian Foundation HIFS from Switzerland and the University of Sarajevo.

Prof. dr. Selmo Cikotic, a representative of the International Humanitarian Foundation of Switzerland, said that this international foundation based in Switzerland with the intention to link the Diaspora of Bosnia and Herzegovina that the political, financial, economic, educational, cultural, sport, represents the growing strength relevant for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“This is the first act of the Foundation in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the intention to show where we see the focus of our work. We want to help in humanitarian projects, intervene and economic projects as well as assist in projects of education, culture, sports, science, “said prof. dr. Selmo Cikotic, and told students scholarship recipients: “We appreciate that you are the future leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

Ten scholarships of the International Humanitarian Foundation of the Swiss handed prof. dr. Selmo Cikotic, and nine one-time scholarships of the University of Sarajevo presented the professor. dr. Aida Hodzic, Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs.
